Denice Dunn

Denice Dunn, originally from upstate New York, recently retired as Co-Executive Director at Camp Merrie-Woode. She majored in engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology and worked in the corporate world with Fisher-Price and General Electric before shifting into youth development. She and her husband, Jim, have two grown sons with families of their own and five grandchildren. She has served on the Boards of the Hampton School, Summit Charter School, and the North Carolina Youth Camp Association. As one of its original members, she once again serves on the Summit Charter School Foundation Board. She was on the founding Board of the Boys and Girls Club of the Plateau and is thrilled to return. In her free time, she loves to travel, play golf, do yoga, entertain, babysit her grandchildren, and enjoys tutoring at the BGCP.
