Amy Hubbard
Board Director
Amy Hubbard was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, and has always enjoyed visiting the North Carolina mountains. From summer vacation trips as a young child to more extended time as an adult over the past 12 years, Amy has built a strong connection to the Plateau and surrounding communities through local organizations, schools, and families. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the University of Florida in 2006, Amy embarked on a successful career that spanned across the southeast, primarily in Atlanta and New York, where she worked with major advertising agencies and Fortune 500 brands to directly enhance their digital ad strategies. In 2016, she put her career on hold to move to Puerto Rico in support of her husband’s career path, where they raised their two young children near the sun and sand. During this time, Amy took on the role of President and Executive Director of A. Friends’ Foundation Trust. Through this position, her passion for non-profit took flight! She continues to enjoy collaborating with strong organizations and the family foundation’s effort to make a meaningful impact in Central Florida, Puerto Rico, and the North Carolina Plateau. Officially making the mountains home in 2023, Amy and her family look forward to immersing themselves in the community.
